[ Dean.. or Deen? Your Call]

With Allah's love
Assalamu'alykum, my dear

Dracula Untold.
Explores the origin of Dracula, weaving vampire mythology with the true history of Prince Vlad the Impaler, depicting Dracula as a flawed hero in a tragic love story set in a dark age of magic and war.
Well, that's what they said in IMDB for this movie. I guess for me, it should be an interesting title if the story isn't about twisting history (as usual). From the very beginning, I saw a glimpse or the trailer when watching tv and said: rubbish story, again. Well of course, I did say that because I never like stories of dracula, vampires, what-so-ever including the Dark Shadows (Johnny Depp), didn't expect it to be so pathetic like this.

Readers, let's not be fooled. While you say, "It's just a movie," I hope it remain that way. Don't you ever let it twist your head to believe in it. If it does, then.. shame on you who said just a movie. As a Muslim, I do felt uneasy when history been told wrongly to the world. More and more, they just keep coming. From academic to general views. It happens. But insyaAllah, I will always try to make sure it won't twist me, and those around me. So, here it is. The truth of Dracula Untold. And I believe, the story is much more suited with the title after I read it. Don't you?

And, I'm sure this is just a part of the story. We shall see more coming, if I had the chance. InsyaAllah.

* * *

Okay, this is out of topic, a bit. I've been reading the posts in UKM Confessions lately, well to be precise, I tried to find any interesting stories. The kind that makes you laugh and still laughing while saying, "Never knew this kind of human knows how to write a story." Well, I guess those have become a history. Now? The page is just full of crap. There's one of two things that captured me though.

1- A post about hear-say: Islamic studies's thesis are rubbish. Wow. What do you think about the Dracula Untold link I shared just now? Where did it came from huh? What do you think about those books you read? Those motivational, tips, even some other informations you get before, where do you think they come from? What? You think most of us just love to spend our months studying things and just write up crappy things? Waaaww. You really are something. Can't wait till you bang your head really hard, just to realise things around you.

2- They still fighting about seniors vs juniors. Sheeessshhh. What a joke, these bunch of kids. Islam told us to care, to respect whoever we met, whoever we knew. There's no limit to do good things. And there's no limit in appreciating people around us. They might forgotten about this, and I'm not sure if someone had shared this in there or not.

"Tidaklah seorang muda menghormati pada orang tua kerana tuanya (usianya), melainkan Allah akan membalas penghormatan dengan menghormatinya pula kerana usianya kelak." HR Tarmizi

"Barangsiapa tidak menyayangi golongan muda antara kami dan tidak mengenali hak orang tua antara kami, maka tidak termasuk dia dalam golongan kami." HR Tarmizi

So.. what's the fuss all about? Just follow the guidance, and all be in peace. And At some point, some people between them really need to learn to let it go. It's not easy, yes, but hey, who cares? We did it, and it'll be written in our names. And we have to be judge later on. Wheeeww. I really don't wanna be one of the losers (الخاسرين).

Till we meet again
